Paula Adams, long time HBTS volunteer and Mary Harrison, Founder, enjoyed the evening.

Marian Pearlman Nease, Esq., HBTS Board Chair, sponsored the fireworks in memory of Judy Tracy.
As fireworks exploded over the ocean and glasses were raised, Hospice by the Sea, Inc. took pride in its 35 years of service to the community, during the annual “Celebration by the Sea.” This year’s event was held at a one-of-a-kind location, the exclusive Delray Beach Club.

“This year’s event truly was a celebration in every way,” said Paula Alderson, President and CEO of Hospice by the Sea, Inc. “Supporters, volunteers, staff and our Board of Directors recognized our accomplishments over the past 35 years and honored the dedicated group that recognized a need in the community for more compassionate care for those with a serious illness.”

ABC Fine Wines and Spirits, the Premier Sponsor of the event, collaborated with the Club’s Executive Chef, Jason Miranda, to pair a variety of cuisines with the right wine, spirit or craft beer which were offered at tasting stations inside and poolside. “The variety was astounding,” Alderson commented.

Over five hundred guests in attendance enjoyed live music from two bands, Will Bridges and the Atlantis Party Band. The latest in auction technology allowed guests to bid without missing a step. They bid on exciting get-aways, one-of-a-kind experiences and unusual items using their own cell phones. When they were not dinning, bidding or dancing, guests enjoyed a private photo session in the supersized photo booth and took home memories of this fabulous celebration.

All proceeds from Celebration by the Sea benefit Hospice by the Sea’s programs and services for patients and families in Palm Beach and Broward counties. These funds help to assure care for the uninsured and underinsured of Palm Beach and Broward Counties
