Barry A. Bleidt, Ph.D., Pharm.D., R.Ph., professor, sociobehavioral and administrative pharmacy at the Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy recently was honored by the Nigerian Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas (NAPPSA). Bliedt was presented with the organization’s Leadership & Service Award during the Annual Scientific Conference & Exposition recently held in Philadelphia. NAPPSA is an umbrella organization of Nigerian pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, allied scientists and the academia in the Americas. Its mission is to promote healthy living and disease prevention through effective pharmaceutical care and facilitation of efficient healthcare delivery systems and strategies in America, Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world.
