Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its research-based doctoral program in nursing. The event celebrated the success of its graduates and raised money for Ph.D. student scholarships and ongoing support to educate nursing scholars.
“We celebrate this nursing doctoral program and these graduates because these scholars are vital to improving the health of our community and beyond,” said College of Nursing Dean Marlaine Smith. “They are educating the next generation of nurses, developing the science of nursing through research and leading the profession to optimize the health of those in their care. Our graduates are recognized as leaders, transforming health care delivery through the application of caring science and pursuing health equity for a diverse patient population.”
