Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to announce neurology and epilepsy expert Dr. Shaun Smart, an epileptologist, has joined the multi-specialty physician group as part of their neuroscience team in Miami-Dade County. Dr. Smart’s practice is based in Hialeah where he is also on-staff at Palmetto General Hospital and Hialeah Hospital.
Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Smart was the Assistant Medical Director of Epilepsy at Baptist Hospital in Miami. He also provided care as a neurohospitalist and as a neurologist at Neuroscience Consultants in Miami. Dr. Smart is dual board-certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He has been practicing medicine since 2006.
