Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to announce Dr. Raul A. Perez-Vazquez, a board-certified internist, has opened an office on the campus of West Boca Medical Center. Dr. Perez-Vazquez specializes in preventive medicine, geriatric care, general internal medicine, hospital medicine and cardiovascular disease.
Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Perez-Vazquez gained valuable medical experience in skilled nursing and long term care facilities, hospital as part of a private medical practice in Boca Raton. Before establishing himself in southeast Florida, he also held a position as an emergency/urgent care staff physician at John D. Dingell Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Perez-Vazquez is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his residency and internship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center after graduating medical school from Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ponce, Puerto Rico and Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico.
