Health Forum Held for Winter Park Residents

Dr. Chet Evans, Executive Director of the Rollins College Center for Health Innovation, hosted and moderated the quarterly health forum for Winter Park residents and practitioners at Rollins College in Orlando. The most recent community lecture on Diabetes & Obesity: America’s Epidemic featured Dr. Tammie Johnson, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology, Department of Public Health, Brooks College of Health at the University of North Florida as presenter. Panelists included Dr. Jennifer B. Marks, Chair, Florida Diabetes Advisory Council; Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Pauline Lowe, Program Director of American Diabetes Association and Dr. Lloyd Werk, Division Chief, General Pediatrics, Nemours Children’s Hospital; specializing in General Pediatrics, Childhood Obesity and Weight Management.
