Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) welcomes Lisa Hedenstrom, Ph.D., RN, MBA, as the new Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer.Hedenstrom most recently worked at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta as system chief nursing officer and served as system chief nursing executive at Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins, GA. She earned her Ph.D. at Georgia State University and her Master of Business Administration from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA, and brings more than 30 years of nursing and administrative experience to IRMC.
