Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to welcome neurologist Amy L. Jarvis, M.D. She has opened a practice with Miami-Dade Neuroscience Institute (MDNI).
Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Jarvis worked as the Interim Director of Stroke and Vascular Neurology and Interim Administrative Chief at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. She also served as a stroke specialist, vascular, critical care and general neurologist at Baptist Neurology Group and Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. Dr. Jarvis has worked with Sister-to-Sister, an organization that promotes women’s cardiovascular health, as a community chairman and with Volunteers in Medicine in Jacksonville as a staff neurologist.
Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is also pleased to announce neurologist Bashar Mohsen, M.D., has opened an office with Miami-Dade Neuroscience Institute (MDNI).
Prior to joining MDNI, Dr. Mohsen worked as a neurologist in four hospitals across the country, most recently at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. He completed a fellowship in neurophysiology/EMG/EEG at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in St. Louis. Dr. Mohsen finished residencies in neurology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and in internal medicine at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital in New York. He also completed clinical trials in hematology and oncology at Brookdale University Hospital in New York. Dr. Mohsen graduated from Damascus University School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria.
