North Shore Medical Center Welcomes New Medical Director of Stroke Program

Neurologist Amy L. Jarvis, M.D., will serve as the new medical director of North Shore Medical Center’s Primary Stroke Center.

 

Prior to her recent move to Miami, Dr. Jarvis worked as the interim director of stroke and vascular neurology and interim administrative chief at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. She also served as a stroke specialist and vascular, critical care and general neurologist at Baptist Neurology Group and Baptist Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Jarvis was selected to be one of the NFL’s unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants for the Jacksonville Jaguars to diagnose and treat concussion in athletes.
