Kerri L. Boyd, LCSW, has been selected as Chief, Social Work Service at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.
Boyd graduated from Florida State University with her Master’s degree in Social Work in 1999, Magna Cum Laude. She was a student intern at the West Palm Beach VAMC in 1999 and was selected for a Mental Health therapist position when she completed her internship. Boyd has worked in numerous programs throughout the medical center; specifically, Crisis Team Social Worker, Home Based Primary Care Social Worker and Transition Patient Advocate.
Boyd worked for five years at the Fayetteville, NC VA Medical Center as the Home and Community Based Care Program Director. She returned to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center in April 2013 as the OEF/OIF/OND (Returning Veteran) Program Manager and was appointed as the Assistant Chief of Social Work Service in April 2014.
