Lee Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that Ronnie Word, M.D., recently joined the professional staff of Lee Physician Group – Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Word earned his medical degree at Central University of Venezuela Luis Razetti School of Medicine, Caracas, Venezuela. He completed a general surgery residency at Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, WI and a vascular and endovascular fellowship at the University of Iowa, Iowa City. He completed a hyperbaric medicine and wound fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami.
