Deborah S. Mulvihill, MSN, RN, FACHE has been named Chief Executive Officer of Bethesda Hospital West and System Vice President of Patient Services for Bethesda Health, Inc.

Mulvihill joins Bethesda Health, after serving as Corporate Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Baptist Health South Florida since 2007. Mulvihill previously served as chief executive officer of Coral Springs Medical Center and Weston Regional Healthpark. She also held positions as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Pembroke Pines Hospital, and Associate Vice President and Nursing Services at Cedars Medical Center. She has held nursing positions at Mercy Medical Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital, as well as other healthcare facilities in Florida and Illinois.
 
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Bradley University, Peoria, IL, Mulvihill began her nursing career as a staff nurse and held several nursing education and management positions in Chicago-area hospitals. She holds a Master of Science degree in nursing from Loyola University of Chicago.
