Broward Health Imperial Point (BHIP) is proud to announce Lydia Simu, environmental service technician, as its recipient of Broward Health Imperial Point’s ‘Shining Star’ award for the second quarter. Lydia, who joined BHIP in November 2012 was hired because the manager who interviewed her at the time remarked that he noticed a sparkle in her eyes and knew she would be a special hire. Lydia’s kind manner and professionalism have won her praise from both staff and patients alike. Lydia is no stranger to recognition as she has earned dozens of shining star nominations including 13 stars in the month of October alone.
