Nearly 200 attendees( breast cancer survivors or anyone touched by breast cancer) donned their creatively PINK decorated hats dazzled in jewels, sparkles, bling and even breasts – all in the name of breast cancer awareness for Broward Health Coral Springs’ (BHCS) annual Mad Hatter’s Tea. With proceeds benefiting the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund, guests even had the opportunity for a meet and greet with Lisa Boccard herself.
The event is always much anticipated for its full ensemble of a typical tea party – from the catering – to the elegantly decorated tables adorned with flowered tea cups and feminine center pieces along with Alice and Wonderland characters prancing throughout. The community event includes educational and boutique booths, music, raffles, and the much awaited hat contest.
