The Awards Team of the National Association for Healthcare Quality(NAHQ), are pleased to announce that Ava Dobin, Regional Manager of Quality at Broward Health Coral SPrings has been selected as the recipient of the Luc R. Pelletier Healthcare Quality Award for 2016.
Dobin was honored for her project to reduce chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) readmissions, a very challenging endeavor in today’s healthcare environment. With a goal of reducing average COPD readmissions rate by 20%, Dobin and her team were able to reduce their average rate by 59% in six months.
