Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) welcomes Medical Hematologist Oncologist Suzanne Kirby, M.D., Ph.D., to its multi-specialty group of physicians.
Prior to joining the staff at IRMC, Dr. Kirby served as an associate professor in the UNC-CH Division of Hematology/Oncology and as a Stem Cell Transplant physician with a joint appointment in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Kirby worked as a hematology/oncology physician and principal investigator at Waverly Hematology/Oncology in Cary, NC and served as Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a member of the Carolina Cardiovascular Biology Center and Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
