Jennifer Goldman, D.O., medical director at South Broward Community Health Services, has accepted an appointment from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to be its physician representative on the Drug Wholesale Distributor Advisory Council.
Dr. Goldman, a board-certified family physician within the Memorial Healthcare System, will serve a four-year term and is one of 11 members charged with reviewing and making recommendations on rules that are part of the state’s drug policy.
Dr. Goldman has worked in community medicine for nearly a decade. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. Her internship and residency in family medicine were completed in South Florida in affiliation with Nova Southeastern University.
