On July 17, Boca Raton Regional Hospital celebrated its 50th birthday. Born out of tragedy in 1967, its founder, Gloria Drummond and residents rallied together out of commitment to the community so the Hospital could open its doors. Their unwavering dedication resulted in what came to be known as the “Miracle on Meadows Road.” Fifty years later, Boca Raton Regional Hospital remains steadfast in keeping the promise that was made five decades ago.

A commemorative photo of the Debbie-Rand Memorial Service League volunteers, who played a vital role in the Hospital’s inception, was taken around the Hospital’s pond.
