Broward Health has named Peter Nyamora, MPA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer; and Beth A. Cherry, RN, MSN, CMPE, as Vice President of Physician Services.
In his most recent role, Nyamora was the HR Director at Memorial Hospital Pembroke. He began his career at the City of Miami Beach and worked at Jackson Health System for seven years.
Nyamora has a bachelor’s degree from Adrian College in Michigan, and a master’s in public administration (MPA) from Florida International University.
Most recently, Cherry was an administrator for physician integration and community practices at the Medicine Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Previous to that positon, Cherry spearheaded operations, including strategic planning and fiscal management, at the Taussig Cancer Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.
Cherry has a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and a Master of Science in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
