Jonathan Hersch, M.D., FAAOS, is now analyzing knee and shoulder injuries in the office with the mi-eye™ hand-held arthroscope. The mi-eye™ is an alternative to traditional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques used to diagnose most knee and shoulder injuries. Dr. Hersch, an orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) has brought the mi-eye™ into his practice in Boca Raton. The mi-eye™ is a minimally invasive, integrated camera designed for use right in a doctor’s office setting. Dr. Hersch uses a 120-degree viewing angle to gain the expanded perspective needed to visualize and confirm joint injuries.
