Jeffery H. Newman, M.D., FACS, a highly-experienced cardiothoracic surgeon, has joined the Tenet Florida Cardiovascular Care (TFCC) practice located in the new Delray Medical Center Tower in Delray Beach, FL. Dr. Newman is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
Prior to joining TFCC, Dr. Newman worked most recently at a South Florida based hospital system. He rejoins Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) after previously serving as a cardiothoracic surgeon for the multi-specialty group and returns to Delray Medical Center where he’s been a cardiothoracic surgeon on-staff for over 25-years.
For his education and training, Dr. Newman completed a thoracic surgery fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. In addition, Dr. Newman also finished a residency in thoracic surgery at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ, and an internship and residency in general surgery at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, New York, NY. He graduated medical school from the New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY.
