Kendall Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Dr. Rodolfo Martinez has been named Chairman of the Department of Surgery. As part of the Executive Committee, Dr. Martinez will be accountable to the Committee and the Chief of Staff for all professional and administrative activities within the Department.
A native of Mexico, Dr. Martinez received his medical degree from Escuela de Medicina Universidad Anachuac Lomas, in Anachuac, Mexico. He then completed an internship at American British Cowdray Medical Center in Mexico City. After emigrating to the United States he received general surgery training at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, followed by a Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at Parkland/Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX.
