Richard S. Levene, D.O., FAAFP, FAAHPM, Medical Director of Clinical Operations for Hospice of Palm Beach County, has earned the designation Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (FAAHPM). FAAHPM members are physicians and other professionals from many medical specialties who have demonstrated significant commitment to scholarship in the field of hospice and palliative care. Dr. Levene graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology. He did his residency at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ and holds certifications from the American Board of Family Practice, the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
Jacqueline Lopez-Devine, R.N., M.S.N. has been appointed Director of Patient Care for Hospice of Palm Beach County. Previously, she was the director of the medical-surgical unit at Palms West Hospital and director of clinical informatics at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. She received her MSN and Health Policy certificate from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing in Baltimore.
Arlene Smith, RN has been promoted from Manager to Director of Business Development. Smith has been a registered nurse for more than eleven years and is currently completing a bachelors degree in nursing at the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Palm Beach Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association.
