Manny Linares, chief executive officer at North Shore Medical Center, recently announced the appointment of Luis Estrada as director of health information and technology services.
Estrada has an extensive background in information services. He joined the staff at North Shore Medical Center in 1992 as a technical support specialist. In 2001, he was promoted to director of information services, where he managed all aspects of computer operations and management of information systems. Estrada played a key part in the integration of electronic medical records at North Shore Medical Center. Prior to joining the hospital, he worked for the National School of Technology in Miami.
