In addition to the latest fall fashions and accessories, Macy’s at The Falls Shopping Center now offers the latest in mammography services. That’s good news for women looking for screening mammography in a comfortable, convenient setting.

(l-r) Tres Davis, vice president and general manager of Macy’s at The Falls; Ana Lopez Blazquez, CEO of Baptist Health Enterprises; Yvonne Diaz, assistant vice president of Baptist Outpatient Services; Julie Greiner, CEO of Macy’s Florida; Anita Uppaluri, American Cancer Society program coordinator and 13-year breast cancer survivor; and Sats Tripathy, Baptist Outpatient Services Board member, attend the pink ribbon-cutting to announce the opening of Baptist Mammography Center at Macy’s, The Falls.

The new Baptist Mammography Center at Macy’s, The Falls, is a joint effort of Baptist Health South Florida and Macy’s, and offers digital mammography and bone density testing. Baptist Health provides the equipment and Macy’s donates the private space. The fully accredited mammography center is staffed by licensed Baptist Health technologists. Patients’ images are interpreted by Board-certified radiologists from Baptist Hospital who specialize in mammography and bone density scans.

“It’s important for women to have convenient access to diagnostic services, particularly mammography,” said Yvonne Diaz, assistant vice president of Baptist Outpatient Services, a part of Baptist Health.

“Women often go to the mall to treat themselves, and now they can do something to benefit their health as well.”
