Dr. Neel Palkar has been promoted to the position of Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology at Plantation General Hospital. Dr. Palkar has practiced at the medical center for almost 14 years, and was Vice Chairman of the Department for the last 4 years. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, England. He continued his studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and completed a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
