Dr. Robert Snyder has been appointed Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center at Northwest Medical Center. Dr. Robert Snyder is a known innovator in wound care management, limb salvage, and education. A podiatrist for the past 30 years, Dr. Snyder has an impressive career both in the academic and medical field, having dedicated his practice for the last 12 years to wound management and limb salvage.
Dr. Snyder is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Additionally, he holds a Diplomat status in the American Academy of Wound Management, is a certified wound specialist, and serves on the board of that organization. Dr. Snyder is currently completing a masters degree in Wound Healing and Tissue Viability from Cardiff University in Wales, the only course like it in the world.
