Broward Health’s financial operations vice president will serve as CDTC’s board treasurer
February 14 2022 – Broward Health Vice President of Financial Operations Alisa Bert has been named to the Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) board of directors where she also will serve as board treasurer.
“Alisa’s experience and leadership in hospital finance will be fundamental as we chart our future,” said Ana Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D, executive director of Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center. “In addition, she understands the unique health care needs of our community.”
A member of the Broward Health leadership team, Bert provides strategic leadership and systemwide oversight of the hospital system’s broad daily operations involving general accounting, financial planning, centralized utilization review, patient billing services, governmental reimbursement, and financial and statistical reporting functions.
A member of the prestigious Healthcare Financial Management Association, she is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, a management approach that specifically focuses on improving process quality.
Bert graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Fayetteville State University, which is a campus of the University of North Carolina. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
