Arthur L. Diskin, M.D., was appointed Vice President, Chief Medical Officer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Dr. Diskin will be responsible for the operations of thirty-four shipboard infirmaries around the world, the on-board care of over 10,000 employees as well as all the corporate public health issues.
Dr. Diskin recently resigned from his position as Chief and Medical Director of Emergency Services at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where he was for the last couple of years. Dr. Diskin is also President of Quality Medical Management, a consulting company providing emergency medicine managing and risk management services.
