Fred W. Reineke, M.D., FirstPath physician and president of the Caducean Society of Greater Fort Lauderdale, recently officiated the prestigious Caducean Society of Greater Fort Lauderdales 2008 Doctor of the Year Banquet.

At the event, Dottie Mancini, M.B.A., R.N., and former Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Point Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, received the Wilbur F. Helmus Medical Humanitarian Award. Diran Seropian, M.D. accepted the John P. Heideman Doctor of the Year Award, and Ernest Costantino, M.D., was the recipient of the Mark E. Unis Award. Reineke passed the gavel to incoming Society President, James L. Cimera, M.D.
