Hialeah Hospital recently unveiled their new $12 million state-of-the-art operating room suites with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and dedication to long time physicians and surgeons.

The 378-bed acute care hospital has built a new family waiting area and consultation room. The new OR features nine operating suites, 12 new recovery rooms and eight pre-operative rooms.

Ralph Aleman, CEO of Hialeah Hospital; Marsha Powers, Sr. Vice President of Operations Tenet South Florida; and Dr. Nestor De La Cruz, Bariatric Surgeon at Hialeah Hospital’s unveiling of the newly renovated OR.

Along with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, key Surgeons who have been with Hialeah Hospital for over 15 years were also acknowledged for their service by being named on a plaque that will be displayed by the new waiting area.
