Lisa Rawlins, corporate director of quality control and performance improvement Broward Health, has been selected to serve as the chair of the Quality, Patient Safety & Accountability Committee for the South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association (SFHHA).
Rawlins joined Broward Health in 2007. She is an 18-year health policy veteran of the Florida Executive Branch, Florida House of Representatives and the private sector. Regarded as a national expert in health care reform, health care transparency, health information technology, and health policy, Rawlins has presented before the National Governors Association, HIMSS, state legislatures, Department of Defense, the Agency for Health Research and Quality, Academy Health, University of Puerto Rico, National Academy for State Health Policy, Grant Makers in Health Care, and numerous other professional and private organizations.
