Each year, the President recognizes and celebrates highly deserving career members of the Senior Executive Service (SES) and Senior Employees of the federal government with the Presidential Rank Award (PRA). Recipients of this prestigious award are strong leaders, professionals, and scientists who achieve results and consistently demonstrate strength, integrity, industry and a relentless commitment to excellence in public service. There are two categories of Rank Awards: Distinguished and Meritorious. Charleen R. Szabo, Director, VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, was a recipient of the Meritorious Award.
