Jessica MacIntyre, DNP, MBA, APRN, NP-C, AOCNP®, executive director of clinical operations at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami, will serve as the next Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) president.
MacIntyre is a long-standing ONS member and has served the organization’s Board of Directors as a director-at- large for the past year. She developed and leads the only accredited-with-distinction oncology nurse practitioner fellowship in Florida and received the American Association of Nurse Practitioners State Award for Advocacy and the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Empowering and Embracing Women Award in health care. MacIntyre earned a dual DNP and MBA degree from Johns Hopkins University.
