For the last 40 years, Pia Delvaille, APRN, has worked at Broward Health Medical Center. She rose through the ranks and now serves as the regional manager of oncology at the system’s flagship hospital.
“It’s a privilege to establish relationships with patients and their families,” Delvaille said. “I get to make a positive impact during one of our patient’s most vulnerable times of their lives.”
The Jamaican native oversees the clinical operations for medical oncology, radiation oncology, infusion therapy services, surgical oncology, and palliative care.
“It gives me great satisfaction to ensure that patients are receiving the latest cutting-edge oncology care that gives them the best chance of survival during the scariest moment of their lives,” Delvaille said.
Delvaille earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Barry University. She also obtained a master’s in healthcare administration from Florida Atlantic University.
