Dr. Hepgur is currently involved in a number of cancer-related clinical trials and is a member of the Florida Cancer Connect Collaborative, an initiative to advance the way Florida approaches cancer research, diagnosis and treatment.
“It’s an exciting time to be involved in research as we find better ways to detect and treat cancer,” said Dr. Hepgur. “But nothing is more rewarding than seeing how the recent advancements being made in this field are benefitting our patients.”
Dr. Hepgur received his medical degree from Istanbul University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine and family medicine at SUNY at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY, before completing his fellowship in hematology and oncology at USC Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA.
