Andre Landau, M.D., is a board-certified Broward Health Physician Group cardiologist with more 40 years of experience who practices at Broward Health North. He has been with Broward Health since 1997. He focuses on interventional cardiology and specializes in coronary angioplasty and aortic valve replacement.

“In South Africa, where I’m originally from, rheumatic heart disease is prevalent and can be quite devastating. That’s what first got me interested in cardiology,” said Dr. Landau. “When I moved to the U.S., my interest transitioned to conditions more common here, including coronary heart disease and valvular heart disease in elderly patients.”

Dr. Landau earned his medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed residencies in internal medicine at both Bargwanath Hospital in Johannesburg and SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn before his fellowship in clinical and interventional cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
