Board certified in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology with a heart failure certification from the Heart Failure Society of America, Lauren Vaughan, M.D., is a Broward Health Physician Group doctor who practices at Broward Health Imperial Point.
Her areas of interest include women’s heart health and preventive cardiology.
“I’m passionate about educating patients on lifestyle modification and encouraging heart-healthy habits that optimize overall health and quality of life,” said Dr. Vaughan. “I believe in creating lasting relationships with patients and their families, working with them to take ownership of their health and formulate the best treatment plans.”
Dr. Vaughan completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University and received her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at ECU Health Medical Center in North Carolina and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Broward Health Medical Center.
