Melissa Jahorie, R.N., B.S.N., has been promoted to Patient Care Administrator for VITAS Innovative Hospice Care® of Miami-Dade/Monroe. The Weston resident brings nearly 15 years of hospital and hospice clinical and leadership experience to her new role.
Jahorie joined VITAS in 2008, first as a case manager, then as a team manager. Prior to joining VITAS, she served as a staff nurse for the Cleveland Clinic in Weston and before that, as a case manager for Grace Hospice in Tulsa, OK. A US Navy veteran, Jahorie served from 1995 to 2000 and from 2003 to 2009 in the US Navy Reserves.
