Cleveland Clinic Florida announces several leadership appointments in the Departments of Plastic Surgery, Radiology, Anesthesiology and Orthopaedic Surgery.
David Friedman, M.D., has been named chairman of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Gregory Gilot, M.D., has been appointed chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, having served as interim chairman and staff surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Florida for over three years.
George DeVelasco, M.D., and Enrique Huertas, M.D., were recently named vice chairs of the Department of Anesthesiology.
Darby Sider, M.D., will now serve as the Internal Medicine

Appointed as section heads in the Department of Radiology are Mark Berman, M.D., Interventional Radiology; Fabian Candocia, M.D., Neuro-Imaging; Jacobo Kirsch, M.D., Cardiothoracic Imaging; Maria Artze, M.D., Women’s Imaging, Nuclear Imaging, Radiation Safety Officer; Lana Wilkinson, M.D., Abdominal Imaging; and Mitchell Whiteman, M.D., Musculoskeletal Imaging.
