The South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association, Inc. (SFHHA) was incorporated in 1944 to serve the interests of hospitals in South Florida. Later in the 1990’s, the SFHHA evolved and recognized the importance of other healthcare aligned organizations. The Board acknowledged their importance and created additional levels of membership and added non-hospitals leaders to our Board of Directors.
The SFHHA is the single most authoritative source of information, advocacy, and education for the South Florida healthcare industry. We empower our members and help them to keep up with – and stay on top of – the rapid changes in the healthcare industry. We support our members in their mission to improve the overall health and well-being of our South Florida population.
The SFHHA membership accurately reflects the diversity in South Florida and focuses on issues unique to our community. As a not-for-profit organization, our mission is to improve the efficient delivery of quality healthcare services to our communities by championing collaboration and communication among leaders across the healthcare continuum.
