da Vinci 5 Surgical Robotic System
The Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute at Jupiter Medical Center successfully performed the inaugural robotic surgery utilizing the state-of-the-art da Vinci 5 Robotic Surgical System. Jupiter Medical Center is one of the nation’s first pioneering facilities to have acquired the da Vinci 5.
Jupiter Medical Center’s program is among the leading robotic programs in the nation. Over 35 robotically trained surgeons span nine specialties, and JMC recently surpassed the milestone of 10,000 robotic surgeries performed.
U.S. News & World Report
U.S. News & World Report, renowned for hospital rankings and consumer guidance, recognized Jupiter Medical Center as a top hospital in Florida. The 2024-2025 High Performing specialties include Stroke, Heart Failure, Colon Cancer Surgery, Lung Cancer Surgery, Hip Replacement, Leukemia Lymphoma & Myeloma, COPD, Diabetes, and Pneumonia. This distinction represents the highest accolade a hospital can receive in U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings. The ratings aid patients and physicians in making informed decisions regarding where to seek care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures. The acknowledgment from U.S. News & World Report is a testament to our team of medical experts.
Leapfrog “A” Spring 2024
Jupiter Medical Center prioritizes healthcare quality and patient safety, exemplified by the recent attainment of another “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. This accolade marks the 11th consecutive “A” Grade for the hospital since fall 2018, affirming our team’s dedication to quality, safety, and patient experience. Once again, Jupiter Medical Center is the only hospital in Palm Beach and Martin counties to achieve this top rating.
The Leapfrog Group evaluates hospitals nationwide using a grading system ranging from “A” to “F,” scrutinizing over 30 metrics for quality and patient safety.
Coming Soon: My Chart
Jupiter Medical Center is transitioning to MyChart, the leading online patient portal powered by Epic. My Chart simplifies how patients manage care for themselves and their families. Through a smartphone, tablet, or computer, patients can schedule, request, and check in for appointments, access test results, request medication, pay bills, and communicate with their health team. My Chart records are seamlessly updated across health providers nationwide, facilitating coordinated patient care.
