Both Lynn Hubbard and Cathy Schroeder of Indian River Medical Center received Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) designation recently, recognizing them as registered nurses with specialized knowledge in the legal field.
Hubbard, R.N., MPH, who came to IRMC in 2007 as vice president/chief nursing officer, and Schroeder, R.N., M.S., BSN, CNOR, who came to IRMC in 2001 and is currently director of Patient Care Services and Surgical Services, began the process in April. It involved a week of all-day classes in Orlando with a daily requirement of three hours of homework a night capped by a 2 1/2-hour exam.
