Florida native Meghan Coote is an integral part of the social services team at Broward Health Imperial Point. She finds purpose and joy through meaningful interactions. Her positivity and bright smile provide encouragement and reassurance for patients during stressful times as she continuously strives to make their hospital stay as pleasant as possible.
“I always knew I wanted to use my master’s in social work to help others but was initially unsure how and where to begin,” said Coote. “When a family member was unexpectedly hospitalized at Broward Health Imperial Point, I witnessed firsthand the exceptional care and extraordinary compassion they experienced which inspired me to now provide that same high level of care.”
Coote earned a Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing her license as a clinical social worker.
