A social services counselor and case manager at Broward Health North, Jessica Naylor, enjoys working in a fast-paced hospital environment alongside her team where they share their knowledge and skills in bringing the highest level of care to patients. With 11 years of experience as a social worker, Naylor passionately advocates for vulnerable children, adults and families who cannot protect themselves. She sees it as a privilege to help others.
“I pride myself on being a team player and have been described as ‘the calm during the storm’ by my supervisors,” said Naylor, who values person-centered therapy modalities and has extensive training utilizing practices such as motivational interviewing, nonviolent communication and narrative therapy.
Naylor earned a Master of Social Work from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
