October 31, 2024 — Lee Health is proud to be named on the Forbes list of America’s Best-in-State Employers for the second year in a row. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, and it is a testament to Lee Health’s commitment to fostering a positive and robust workplace for its employees.
Lee Health was also named one of the Best Employers for New Grads and one of the Best Employers for Veterans in 2021 as well as one of the Best Employers for Diversity in 2020.
America’s Best-in-State Employers 2024 were identified in an independent survey from more than 160,000 employees working for companies employing at least 500 people within the United States. The ranking is open to companies from all industry sectors and 4.4 million employer evaluations were considered.
The evaluation was determined on a state-by-state basis and is built on two types of employee evaluations: Personal evaluations, or employees’ willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family, and public evaluations, including recommendations from friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry.
The number of companies on each state’s list varied by the size of its companies and workforce. Ultimately, a total of 1,294 organizations made the overall list.
