Rodrigo Navarro-Ramirez, M.D., MSc, FAANS, has joined the medical staff at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. A distinguished neurosurgeon and spine surgeon, Dr. Navarro-Ramirez completed his medical education at the School of Medicine, UNAM in Mexico City, Mexico. He has extensive postgraduate training background that includes a fellowship in minimally invasive spine surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY; a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD; and a fellowship in adult and pediatric scoliosis at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Dr. Navarro-Ramirez’s specialty interests include minimally invasive spine surgery; robotics, navigation, and artificial intelligence in spine surgery; motion preservation spine surgery; awake spine surgery in adults and elderly patients; neuro-oncology; and biologic intervertebral disc regeneration. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
