United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, in collaboration with the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition (BBHC) and Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), will host the 10th Annual South Florida Behavioral Health Conference: The Power of Prevention on Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22 at the Broward County Convention Center. The two-day event will promote community awareness and support of behavioral health and substance use prevention.
The two day conference Keynote Speakers include (additional speakers will be forthcoming):

- Patrick Kennedy, Former Congressman, Mental Health Advocate, and Founder of The Kennedy Forum

- Joseph Green, CEO of LMS Voice and a professional storyteller and narrative disrupter
- Alix Generous – Neurodiversity Activist and TedX Speaker
The Conference will also feature renowned subject matter experts ranging from psychologists, behavioral health clinicians, professors, trauma and grief specialists, and prevention specialists who will provide crucial continuing education seminars, workshops, and keynote sessions.
