Tiffany Hinds has been a nurse for more than 20 years, most of that time with Memorial Healthcare System. Having worked in three of the system’s six hospitals since 2005, she most appreciates the environment that has been created for nurses. “The people and culture are what make an enjoyable workplace, and what we have here isn’t evident other places I’ve been. Memorial is great about growing its own leaders.”
Tiffany is in a leadership role as nurse manager for emergency services in Miramar. A strong believer in professional growth, and a mentor to less experienced nurses, she reminds herself and others to always remember why they originally got into healthcare. “The desire to help people is the driving force,” said the graduate of Florida Atlantic and Nova Southeastern universities. “Patients depend on us, and we all play a part in getting them back to their optimum health.”
