Dara M. Whalen, MS, RN, assistant professor of nursing, was approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and selected by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) to participate on the NCLEX® item development panel of experts, held in Chicago, IL.
Whalen was one of 11 nurses from across the nation to be selected for this assignment. She was nominated on the basis of clinical specialty and nursing expertise.
